Dr. Virginie F. Ruiz
Dr V.F. Ruiz received the BSc, MSc, PhD in signal processing from the University of Rouen, France. Her research focuses on the theory and application of nonlinear filtering for estimation, detection, prediction, analysis and recognition. She is concerned with the development of fundamental principles for new ways of describing and processing of non-linear, non-Gaussian and non-stationary signals. She has been with the Department of Cybernetics at the University of Reading since 1998. She is a senior lecturer in signal processing and chair of the Instrumentation and Signal Processing Research Group. For more details consult:
